Fun Finds

I love reading friends blogs and learning about their new great finds, which is why I want to let you in on ten of my favs.

1. Katinas Greek Cafe- you can check out the assortment here.  If you live in the KC area head to the freezer section at Hen house or Dean and Deluca.  You will love them!!

2. Paddy Wax candles- Not only do they smell so great and strong, but they burn for 48 hours! You can purchase these smelly goods at Halls.  To check out the Paddy Wax website click here.  I am obsessed with the winter garden collection...in particuar, mission fig!

3. Traeger- everything and anything cooked on this will taste amazing!!

4. Barbecue Wilton  Armetale platter - great for cooking potatoes and veggies on the grill.  Especially because it keeps the good hot! We bought ours from  Bed Bath and Beyond

5. Vaseline Intensive Care bath bubbles- The water smells great but even more importantly you skin feels baby smooth when you are finished!

6.  Sangria- our friends Kathy and Steve introduced us to the best Sangira called Cruz Garcia...YUM!

7. Key Lime Cheesecake- Dean and Deluca makes a great one, but if you feel up to the challenge check out this recipe  from Betty Crocker

Summer

The new big toy in the Draper house is our Traeger grill....we have spent almost every night for the past two weeks grilling out!  Guess what my favorite thing about the grill is.......Brent does the cooking!!!!!

Well, not all the cooking! I still make sure we have delicious sides and drinks!

Summer Brew
4 cups ice cubes
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer ......Drapers use 2 but no pressure :o)
12 fluid ounces vodka

Summer Brew....yummm! We are looking forward to more summer brew in NOLA with the Sanders family this August!

Gotta keep it Greek!

Koukla loves playing outside while Brent is grilling.  I love this picture!

We struggle to take pictures by ourselves. Brent is pretty tall!!

At least we got this one right ;o)

Other exciting news...I got a new Camera! A Canon rebel....LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!

I have spent a lot of time reading the instruction manual....and Koukla is my model! LOL!

Erin and James Brungardt

I really need a new small camera.....this is the second wedding that I have taken HORRIBLE pictures.

You all might recognize my friend Erin, she was one of my bridesmaids! But this past weekend was all Erins.....she tied the knot to James Brungardt and it was a lovely wedding! Erin was stunning....no surprise there!
I love her :o) She is a wonderful friend to both Brent and I...she was our match maker!  It is so exciting to see my good friends get married.  I get butterflies in my stomach before the church doors open and I see them for the first time....in a white gown...its a beautiful feeling that I can relate to and I love knowing what they are feeling at that moment...LOVE and EXCITEMENT!

The Langs! This weekend was the first time I met Ashlyn, and she is precious....she is the perfect combination of her parents!  It is really moving to watch my friends become parents.  I loved the way Tasha rocked her to sleep and the way her dad would give her the most gentle kisses.  Makes me excited for when Brent and I become parents....still a few years off though!

Wendy! She was the wonderful Matron of Honor. Click here to see more on Wendy and her family!

Blue was the color of choice!

The Newlyweds! Brent and I were so excited when Katie called to say they were coming to town!
I love how marriage has doubled the size of our families. Its so great to see not only Brent and I love each others families, but for our siblings and cousins to become friends as well. Simply beautiful.

Easter with our family

Brent and I had a beautiful Easter celebration with our family.  We spent the early afternoon with the Draper side...and as you can see, the Easter bunny stopped by for the kiddos.  I thought Brent hid this egg in the perfect spot.
Brent and I laughed for awhile after Uncle Scotty hid an egg in the tree!

Mr. and Mrs.
Aunt Jennifer helped the kids with their Easter egg hunt
I love this picture of Carly sneaking up on her cousin Tyler.
HAHA! This one speaks for itself!! Jack loved searching for eggs...but he had to sprint in order to beat his older cousins!

 My cute little bunnies!

Best buds and the most amazing cooks!
The birthday boy....86...and still looking good!

 Yeh....AMAZING!

Someone got to the cake before the birthday boy....I dont think papou even noticed.
