Erin and James Brungardt

I really need a new small camera.....this is the second wedding that I have taken HORRIBLE pictures.

You all might recognize my friend Erin, she was one of my bridesmaids! But this past weekend was all Erins.....she tied the knot to James Brungardt and it was a lovely wedding! Erin was stunning....no surprise there!
I love her :o) She is a wonderful friend to both Brent and I...she was our match maker!  It is so exciting to see my good friends get married.  I get butterflies in my stomach before the church doors open and I see them for the first time....in a white gown...its a beautiful feeling that I can relate to and I love knowing what they are feeling at that moment...LOVE and EXCITEMENT!

The Langs! This weekend was the first time I met Ashlyn, and she is precious....she is the perfect combination of her parents!  It is really moving to watch my friends become parents.  I loved the way Tasha rocked her to sleep and the way her dad would give her the most gentle kisses.  Makes me excited for when Brent and I become parents....still a few years off though!

Wendy! She was the wonderful Matron of Honor. Click here to see more on Wendy and her family!

Blue was the color of choice!

Greek Time

Brent and I had a great weekend! Not only was it Easter, but we had Scotty and the Bakers in town.  Here are some pictures from a great night with a lot of Greeks!

 He sure is a looker!
The Newlyweds! Brent and I were so excited when Katie called to say they were coming to town!
I love how marriage has doubled the size of our families. Its so great to see not only Brent and I love each others families, but for our siblings and cousins to become friends as well. Simply beautiful.

Easter with our family

Brent and I had a beautiful Easter celebration with our family.  We spent the early afternoon with the Draper side...and as you can see, the Easter bunny stopped by for the kiddos.  I thought Brent hid this egg in the perfect spot.
Brent and I laughed for awhile after Uncle Scotty hid an egg in the tree!

Mr. and Mrs.
Aunt Jennifer helped the kids with their Easter egg hunt
I love this picture of Carly sneaking up on her cousin Tyler.
HAHA! This one speaks for itself!! Jack loved searching for eggs...but he had to sprint in order to beat his older cousins!

 My cute little bunnies!

Best buds and the most amazing cooks!
The birthday boy....86...and still looking good!

The falls

Brent and I made for a lil weekend getaway beginning in Rochester, NY.  The trip came about unexpectedly...which is what made it so fun.  Brent purchased a car at a dealership in Rochester and it was supposed to be shipped within 6 days of being ordered.....well....THREE weeks later and one car between the Drapers it was time to take matters in to our own hands.

The plan:
Fly to NY and drive the car back.

At first I wasnt too excited about a 19 hour drive back to Leawood Ks but Brent did a great job of making our trip feel like a big weekend date!

For example, the hotel!

After sleeping in a California King I am having trouble readjusting to our Queen bed.  Brent takes up so much room...he literally makes this bed look small!

The main part of our weekend date was a trip to the beautiful Niagra Falls.
They were amazing...so big and peaceful.

My favorite picture from our trip
I love him :o)

The lobby of our hotel had a swanky bar. We celebrated our new purchase with a cocktail before heading to the casino for a delicious Italian meal and some fun!
No pictures to capture our drive home....it was a long one but so great to be able to talk and site see.
Thank you Brent for planning a beautiful and spontaneous trip for us!
