I have never done two blog posts in the same day before, but I have had several requests to post more pictures from our wedding day. Since I have nothing to do tonight...I figured I'd do just that!
Also, here is a sneak peak of our wedding video filmed by Maura with Creative Video. We are so excited to see the final product!

A lazy weekend
Well, not too much to blog about this week....we didn't really do much of anything, which was awesome! Friday night, my sister Lia and her bf TJ met Brent and I at our favorite Mexican restaurant for $14.00 pitchers of margaritas! You see, Chapalas does it right....they brought us four glasses filled to the rim and then a full pitcher!
After dinner, we all went to the Schambergers to catch up with old friends. Tricia and I met through my cousin Nick my freshman year at K-State. We lived together for a bit at K-State and then I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in her beautiful wedding this past June!
On Saturday, Brent and I slept in until 11:00....THIS NEVER HAPPENS! I always am up before my alarm clock goes off because I want to pack as much stuff into our two day weekend as possible. Eventually we got around to cleaning my car, browsing around Borders for decorating books and stopped by my parents house after a quick shopping spree at Bed Bath and Beyond. Have I ever mentioned that Brent and I are buying a house? Well we are!! If all goes well we are hoping to move in right around the new year! I won't tease you with pictures until it's a done deal though :o) Here was our floor this evening, decisions....decisions....decisions.
Sunday morning we went to church, just like we always do....but today the "after church" festivities were a little different. Tables were covered with handbags, scarves and sunglasses! My sister is a professional shopper, she can plow through an entire store before the average shopper is still searching through the first rack. Needless to say she bought eight of the cutest bags there!! Merry early Christmas to Lia!
Later today Brent and I took Koukla over to my parents house to play with their pups. Koukla normally loves little getaways but not today.... not in the cold...and not when I make her wear clothes. To add a little salt to the wound I also made her take pictures. Sorry Kouks!
She blends in with the leaves.
Brent also used to not care for my obsession with taking pictures. But he, unlike Koukla, has come around!
My mom and I goofing off...we were happy to be in our winter boots!
Sunday nights are our favorite, they are so relaxing! Cuddle time, pumpkin spics candles and football. A perfect ending to a perfect weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving was different this year....it was more special as we were lucky enough to spend it with two families. This year it felt so much more exciting to be celebrating a holiday with in laws.....its crazy how your family size doubles with a wedding :o)
This year Thanksgiving began with the Drapers. We had a delicious meal at Figlios on the plaza. There was so much food to choose from....and a huge dessert bar! Although lunch was wonderful, the most special part of this years Draper Thanksgiving was toasting to Shawn, Jennifer and Tylers new home(which they moved into on the 24th!!)
The men of the house opening a bottle of wine for a toast!
Tyler is so excited about his new bedroom and unfinished basement that he can play in. Shawn loves their amazing....and huge shower and Jennifer has every reason to be crazy about the kitchen!!!! We are so excited for you guys!
Here are a few other special family pictures:
Brent with his brother Shawn and sister Miki
Peggy and the gang
Love birds
Later that afternoon, we went to my Aunt and Uncles house to celebrate with even more family. I look forward to Thanksgiving more than any other holiday because I get to see so many cousins! These next two pictures were taken a little later in the night....as you can see, we were all having a great time!
My sister Lia and I were talking about how this Thanksgiving was extra special because our cousins have little ones running around the place...hopefully they will enjoy each others company as much as the older cousins do!
Yiayia and Thea Rina enjoying sister time too
Brent, I am so thankful for you!
and.....so is the rest of the family!
My buddy Alexia and I
A few of the ladies with handsome Anthony!
What kind of party would it be without papou dancing? .....Why no party!!!!
My favorite lady and I
This next picture cracks me up.....the yiayias are so little compared to Brent!
Thank you to everyone who made our first Thanksgiving together so special!

Welcoming Elias
Brent and I feel so honored to be baby Elias's Godparents. He will always have a special place in our hearts as he is the first God child to both Brent and I.
Elias was born on October 16th and weighed in at almost 10lbs...WOW! He has the most beautiful blue eyes like his sister and a full head of dark brown hair!! Today he was introduced to St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox church....a very special occasion for the entire church. Brent and I watched from "our pew" with big sister Eleni as father blessed this wonderful families newest addition at the alter.
Peter and Mary were undoubtedly proud parents during the introduction.
Every Sunday we look forward to going to church. We have been blessed with a wonderful and close knit congregation, every one is so supportive of each other. After service we all get together for lunch and great company. Today was extra special as we celebrated Thanksgiving together with turkey, salad, sweet potatoes and much more!
Proud dad Peter and Eli!
Nouna, Peter and Eli
Eli, I just cant get enough of you!!!
Nouno Brent is so excited to be baptizing Elias....from the first time they met in the hospital there was an instant connection! Brent already cant wait to play sports with him, and judging by his hands we might have a football star!
Eli was an angel this morning....regardless of all the loud Greek voices and little yiayias grabbing his sweet hands he still managed to catch some Z's. He did wake up for a few minutes though to check out Nouno.
Big sister Eleni is amazing! She wanted to sit in the front row this morning (never wants to miss any of the action) but when she heard a baby cry she would immediately look back at her mom to see if baby brother was okay.
Eleni is like a celebrity at church! She is such a happy girl and gives the BEST hugs! She knew that Elias coming to church for the first time was a special occasion.... so what better way to celebrate than with sweet treats!
Thank you Jouras family for making Brent and I part of your family.....we love you!

Just yell "PULL"
Today after church, my mom and I went to my friend Katies beautiful bridal shower while the men went to the shooting range for some father-son bonding time.
By the looks of their bucket they had a great time shooting clay pigeons.
A few hours later we met them at the range! We didn't mean to interrupt their bonding time but we couldn't resist being outside in the perfect weather.....esp. since it will be freezing before we know it!
Shooting has been a hobby of my parents for a few years, but I have never been to the range with them. As soon as I got there my dad wanted to teach me how its done!
Brent looked pretty great in his shooting gear...and he wasn't too bad of a shot either.
Thanks mom and dad for taking us out!
A great end to a wonderful weekend.....Love ya Draper!
